The association, founded in 1967, supports around 11,000 people with disabilities in their living and working lives, often throughout their entire lives. A total of around 7,000 employees work in 500 Lebenshilfe locations in Austria. They are supported by 900 volunteers, over 500 community service members and around 200 interns. The main goal is inclusion of people with disabilities in the society.

Mrs Claudia Salviani is invited to hold a public lecture at the Faculty of Forestry, after which she will conduct a workshop for students of the Department of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture concerning redesigning public space in front of the Center for Accommodation and Daycare for Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities in Julino brdo.
