Dr. Mirjana M. Tešić (b. 1979, Belgrade) is an Assistant Professor at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Forestry, Department of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture. She holds a PhD in Landscape Architecture and Horticulture (2021), with a dissertation titled Characteristics of Urban Soils in Belgrade and their Environmental Significance. Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in Landscape Engineering (2010) and a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry (2007), both from the University of Belgrade. Since joining the Faculty, she has been engaged in teaching and research in the field of landscape engineering, urban ecology, and soil management. Dr. Tešić has participated in the teaching of several undergraduate and master’s courses, including Establishment and maintenance of green areas, Pedology, Urban ecology, Urban green space management, and Reclamation of damaged soils in landscape architecture. She has served on numerous diploma thesis committees and has authored or co-authored over forty scientific and professional papers published nationally and internationally.
