Electoral Council
The Electoral Council of the Faculty:
1) defines the proposals for appointment to teacher titles;
2) conducts an election for associate titles;
3) determines the Commission for the writing of a report on candidates for election to the positions of teachers and associates;
4) makes records of the candidate for the Rector, in the manner and procedure prescribed by the University Statute.
The Electoral Council of the Faculty consists of teachers who are employed with at least 70% of working time at the Faculty, while the Electoral Council is composed of teachers of the same or higher ranks than the rank to which the candidate is being elected.
The Electoral Council takes decisions by majority vote of the members entitled to decide.
The Commission for writing the report on candidates for election to the position of teacher or assistant, consists of at least three teachers or researchers with a scientific degree in the field for which the teacher or associate is appointed, of which at least one is not employed at the Faculty.
Members of the Commission have the title of the same or higher rank than the title to which the teacher is elected.
The Dean is the President of the Electoral Council by function.
